RESTAURANT HOST

Job Summary: The restaurant host will be responsible for warmly receiving and seating guests. He/she will also ensure the smooth flow of patrons by controlling reservations, seating assignments, and facilitating special requests.

Responsibilities:

• Communicating to all guests with a smile and warm welcome when they enter the restaurant or via phone call
• Assisting with designing seating plan based on special requests and reservations
• Ensuring restaurant environment is within standards which includes music level, lighting, temperature, and cleanliness
• Recognizing all guests who are celebrating by communicating with servers and leadership to create a memorable experience
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained and functional and assists with inventory when needed
• Keeping all areas clean and organized throughout the shift

Qualifications:

• High School Certificate/Diploma
• Food Handler's Permit
