Restaurant Manager

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. You will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of daily operations of the food and beverage offering, delivering memorable guest experiences, leading service excellence, and developing our people.

  • Lead front-of-house food & beverage operations, delivering friendly, professional service
  • Manage restaurant and bar teams, planning daily activities
  • Manage guest issues and support emergency response procedures
  • Ensure clear communication through service logs and cross-department collaboration
  • Drive performance against budgets, service standards, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Support team training, inductions, and compliance with food safety, safe work and hygiene standards
  • Manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and implement cost control measures to optimise profitability while maintaining quality
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Represent the restaurant professionally and build lasting relationships with customers, staff, and community stakeholders

Qualifications

  • A demonstrated passion for leading the next generation of hospitality leaders.
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role within the food service industry
  • Ability to support and guide team members to reach operational expectations
  • Strong organisational skills and time management
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with restaurant management software and Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, cost control, and budget management
  • Experience with staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and foster an inclusive workplace environment
  • Familiarity with Australian food safety regulations and local compliance requirements
  • Hold current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA - or ability to obtain)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
  • Full working rights in Australia
