Overview:
The manager is to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures and lead a team of associates to provide memorable experiences to both guests and team members.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing F&B Outlets.
Responsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall management.
Complete environmental checklist for dining room.
Responsible for pool supervisors and pool associates
Spot check liquor pars.
Order daily supplies.
Follow up on established training steps.
Handle guest comments and complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
Stay on the floor during peak hours.
Communicate with guests and receive feedback.
Observe, teach and elevate staff’s service.
Monitor each guest’s experience.
Examine food preparation and beverage presentation.
Maintain condition of dining room.
Scheduling, completing weekly payroll, and forecasting both weekly and monthly.
Participate in interviewing new employees as needed.
Prepare maintenance request and follow-up.
Monitor food and liquor requisitions and food waste.
Check bar controls, shot glass use, red lining, and bottles totally empty daily.
Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
Must know emergency procedures and work to prevent accidents.
Must be highly organized.
Qualifications:
3 years + in a Bar Manager role highly preferred
Must have previous experience in a busy, fast paced working environment.
Must have the ability to manage deadlines and support a team.
Understanding of Food and Beverage financials including cost and par controls is required
General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must have a strong attention to detail as well as strong customer service skills.
Must have understanding of beer, wine, and cocktail beverage creation knowledge.
Must have unexpired manager ServSafe Food Handlers and TiPS&RBS – or obtain upon hire.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
