Restaurant Manager
1887 Restaurant Manager
Lead the service. Shape the experience. Make people feel special.
We are looking for a confident and engaging 1887 Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operation of our award-winning restaurant at The Torridon. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves exceptional service, develops great teams and takes pride in delivering memorable 5-star hospitality in a place like no other.
At 1887, every detail matters — from the welcome at the door to the knowledge at the table and the final goodbye. You will lead the front-of-house team, work closely with the kitchen, support wine and menu knowledge, and ensure every guest feels genuinely cared for.
What you’ll do:
- Lead smooth, confident and memorable restaurant service.
- Coach and inspire the 1887 team to deliver at 5-star standard.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider Food & Beverage team.
- Drive guest happiness, service standards and continuous improvement.
- Support productivity, stock control, sustainability and compliance.
What we’re looking for:
- A natural host with warmth, confidence and attention to detail.
- Strong restaurant leadership experience in a high-quality hospitality environment.
- A passion for food, wine, service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Someone who leads by example, develops people and keeps standards high.
- A positive, organised manager who thrives in a luxury, guest-focused setting.
- Somone who loves adventure and the great outdoors.
If you are ready to lead a special restaurant in one of Scotland’s most spectacular locations, we would love to hear from you.
