Restaurant Manager - Six month fixed contract

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Oak Room Restaurant and Bar including Conferencing and Events and In-room Dining.

This is a fixed six-month position in a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being on the floor, connecting with guests and developing a high-performing team. You’ll take ownership of the restaurant and bar experience, driving service standards, team engagement and commercial performance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the daily operations of Inspire, Oak Room Restaurant and Bar including Conferencing and Events and In-room Dining
• Coach and develop the Food & Beverage team
• Create memorable guest experiences and drive service excellence
• Manage guest feedback and confidently resolve service issues
• Oversee restaurant and events presentation, beverage service and compliance
• Manage stock, costs and daily operational requirements
• Work closely with Kitchen and wider hotel teams to deliver seamless service

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Experience leading a restaurant, bar or Food & Beverage operation
• Strong leadership skills and a passion for developing people
• A genuine focus on guest experience and service excellence
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage operations
• Commercial awareness and experience managing costs and budgets
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
