RESTORATIVE CARE
Working time
Contract Period: From 14 September 2026 to 31 December 2027(excluding School Holidays), Option to Extend.
· One (1) day: 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (inclusive of a one-hour mealbreak); and
· Two (2) days: 8.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. (inclusive of a 30-minute break).
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Restorative Practice Practitioner to support the school's Student Development Team in promoting student well-being, positive behaviour, and restorative practices. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, parents, and school leaders to provide intervention support, strengthen home-school partnerships, and foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide intervention, mentoring, and support for identified students.
Build positive relationships to enhance students' social-emotional well-being and resilience.
Conduct restorative practices, including community-building circles, family circles, restorative conversations, mediation, and conflict resolution sessions.
Support students in developing emotional regulation, communication, relationship-building, and responsible decision-making skills.
Partner with parents, teachers, and the Student Development Team to support students' holistic development.
Facilitate restorative conversations and family engagement sessions to strengthen home-school partnerships.
Deliver training and coaching to school staff on restorative practices where required.
Observe, document, and report students' progress, behavioural concerns, and intervention outcomes.
Maintain accurate and confidential case records and provide weekly updates to the Student Development Team.
Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of student engagement and restorative programmes.
Carry out any other student management or school-related duties assigned by the school.
Requirements
Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work, or a related discipline.
Certified Practitioner in Restorative Practice / Building Relational Capacity accredited under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework.
At least 1 year of experience in the education or social service sector, preferably working with primary school-aged students.
Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and school leaders.
Passionate about supporting children's social-emotional development and creating a positive school environment.
