Restorative Care Officer
Job Description
- Support student engagement, intervention and mentoring
- Promote social-emotional development and self-regulation
- Facilitate restorative practices, mediation and conflict resolution
- Support parent engagement and home-school partnerships
- Conduct student observations, documentation andprogress updates
- Support student development and restorative programmes
- Work closely with the Student Development Team, teachers and parents
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
- Perform other student management duties assigned by the school
Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work or related fields
- Certification: Certified Practitioner in Restorative Practice / Building Relational Capacity (WSQ preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in education, social services or related sectors
- Preferred: Experience working with primary school students
