Restorative Care Officer

Job Description

  • Support student engagement, intervention and mentoring
  • Promote social-emotional development and self-regulation
  • Facilitate restorative practices, mediation and conflict resolution
  • Support parent engagement and home-school partnerships
  • Conduct student observations, documentation andprogress updates
  • Support student development and restorative programmes
  • Work closely with the Student Development Team, teachers and parents
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
  • Perform other student management duties assigned by the school

Requirements

  • Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work or related fields
  • Certification: Certified Practitioner in Restorative Practice / Building Relational Capacity (WSQ preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in education, social services or related sectors
  • Preferred: Experience working with primary school students
