Service week (days/hours): Sunday - Saturday; Part-Time, Shifts Vary, 24 hours a week
Required meetings: Monthly all-staff meetings, all scheduled meeting
Position Objective
At Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia(“HFHP”), we are builders who work alongside, not for others. We are driven by accountability and defined by our stick-to itiveness. The ReStore Associate represents the Habitat brand through courteous interactions with potential donors and customers to support our mission and support ReStore operations.
Specific Duties:
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Putting incoming donations from receiving docks in the proper location.
- Helping to unload donation trucks in the warehouse as instructed by ReStore Manager.
- Moving priced items to the showroom floor.
- Assist customers through the purchase process.
- Adhering to the ReStore’s recycling efforts.
- Assisting customers and donors in loading and unloading merchandise.
Cashier duties:
- Welcoming customers
- Answering the front desk phone
- Assist customers through the purchase process
- Provide general assistance to customers, answering questions and directing them to the correct area.
- Ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
- Maintain a clean and accessible front desk area
- All other duties as assigned.
