Position Summary
The Full-Time Retail Associate serves as a brand ambassador for Brain Dead, creating an engaging and memorable customer experience while fostering community through culture, art, and fashion. This role combines exceptional customer service, product storytelling, visual merchandising, and operational excellence to ensure every guest has an authentic connection to the brand.
Key Responsibilities
● Deliver an elevated customer experience by building genuine relationships and providing personalized styling and product recommendations.
● Communicate the stories behind Brain Dead collections, collaborations, and exclusive releases to educate and inspire customers.
● Drive sales by achieving individual and store performance goals while maintaining a customer-first approach.
● Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards that reflect Brain Dead's creative identity and seasonal direction.
● Support new product launches, collaborations, events, and community activations within the store.
● Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately through the POS system.
● Receive, organize, replenish, and maintain inventory while ensuring stockroom accuracy and organization.
● Assist with daily opening and closing procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment.
● Collaborate with the retail team to support business initiatives and contribute ideas that enhance the customer experience.
● Stay informed on current product knowledge, fashion trends, and Brain Dead's creative projects to confidently represent the brand.
● Uphold company policies, operational procedures, and loss prevention standards.
Qualifications
● Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
● Passion for fashion, art, music, design, and contemporary culture.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
● Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
● Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
● Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
