Retail Cashier FT

SUMMARY: Responsible for greeting and helping Guests in a courteous, friendly manner and promoting all aspects of Black Oak Casinos retail operations.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)

• Opens and closes the Gift Basket in a timely manner.
• Maintains the Gift Basket in a neat and clean manner ensuring that all counters, cabinets and merchandise are kept orderly and dust free.
• Ensures proper inventory controls, by maintaining accurate records of merchandise sold.
• Interacts with Guests, greets and provides the highest level of Guest service.
• Handles cash and other acceptable forms of payment utilizing current point-of-sale equipment.
• Assists in ordering and maintaining appropriate stock.
• Inspects merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed.
• Ensures that all Policies and Procedures are followed.
• Assists the Retail Lead in creating and setting up displays of merchandise.
• Assists the Retail Lead in conducting inventories.
• Assists in maintaining inventory, ensuring accountability of all merchandise on a monthly basis.
• Assists in the daily merchandising of the Gift Basket.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
