Zaheen Kamran Designer Jewellery is seeking a highly creative, technically skilled and execution-oriented Retail Design & Visual Merchandising Manager to lead the physical brand experience across its studio, kiosks, exhibitions and retail displays.

The successful candidate will develop the brand's retail design language and customised jewellery display products, then take projects from initial concept and moodboards through 3D visualisation, technical drawings, prototyping, vendor coordination, fabrication and final installation.

Key responsibilities
1. Retail & spatial design

· Conceptualise and design retail kiosks, studio interiors, exhibition setups and display counters.

· Prepare floor plans, elevations, 3D renders, technical drawings and material specifications.

· Develop practical, customer-focused retail environments that reflect the brand identity.

· Manage fabrication, site coordination and final installation.

2. Jewellery display product development

· Design original jewellery display stands, necklace busts, earring holders, trays, risers and presentation props.

· Develop customised display solutions for bridal, everyday jewellery and accessories.

· Explore materials and finishes including brass, acrylic, wood, stone, velvet, metal and other suitable materials.

· Develop prototypes, production-ready specifications and repeatable display systems.

· Coordinate with local craftsmen, workshops and manufacturers.

3. Visual merchandising

· Establish visual merchandising standards across the flagship studio, kiosks and exhibitions.

· Plan product zoning, showcase layouts, product placement and visual hierarchy.

· Create seasonal, campaign-led and window display concepts.

· Ensure displays are visually compelling, functional and commercially effective.

4. Brand design system

· Develop a cohesive retail design theme and visual language for the brand.

· Establish colour palettes, material boards, textures, finishes and lighting direction.

· Create a practical retail design and visual merchandising guideline.

· Maintain consistency across all physical brand touchpoints.

5. Project & vendor management

· Independently manage fabricators, contractors, suppliers and manufacturers.

· Obtain and compare quotations, recommend materials and manage project budgets.

· Prepare timelines, supervise quality and coordinate installations.

· Ensure delivery meets approved designs, specifications, budgets and deadlines.

Candidate profile & technical requirements

Preferred educational backgrounds: Industrial Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Retail Design or Exhibition Design.

· 4–7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in premium retail, jewellery, fashion, lifestyle or exhibitions.

· Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.

· Strong 3D visualisation skills using V-Ray, Enscape or equivalent software.

· Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

· Strong understanding of materials, finishes, fabrication methods and production processes.

· Demonstrated experience in product development, prototyping and technical documentation.

· Confident vendor, contractor and project management skills.

· Able to work independently, manage multiple projects and take responsibility from concept to completion.

Portfolio requirements

Applicants must submit a portfolio showing relevant work, preferably including:

· Completed kiosk, retail store or exhibition designs.

· Interior design projects, layouts and 3D visualisations.

· Original product designs, jewellery display stands or retail fixtures.

· Technical drawings, material specifications and production details.

· Projects personally taken from concept through fabrication and installation.

This is not a conventional store-display or merchandise-arrangement role. The candidate must be able to conceptualise, design, develop and execute complete retail environments and customised display products, while independently managing external vendors.
