Position Overview
As a Retail Front End Supervisor, you will be an integral member of the store leadership team, supporting store operations, customer service, merchandising, and associate development. This role serves as a stepping stone to future management opportunities and is ideal for candidates who enjoy leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving results in a fast-paced retail environment.
This positions is located in Staten Island, New York.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise front-end operations and store associates
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
- Coach, train, and develop team members
- Support merchandising, operations, and store performance goals
- Promote a safe and inclusive work environment
- Coordinate associate schedules, meal breaks, and workload priorities
- Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding efforts
- Reinforce asset protection and shortage prevention strategies
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods
