Position Summary
VENU+ is seeking friendly, energetic Photo Hosts to join our team at Idlewild & SoakZone during the Hallo-BOO season. Photo Hosts help guests capture memorable moments by taking quality photographs, presenting photo options, and assisting with purchases.
This is a seasonal position requiring consistent weekend availability through the end of October.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and create a welcoming, fun experience.
- Take high-quality photographs at designated locations throughout the park.
- Assist guests with viewing, selecting, and purchasing photographs.
- Operate photography equipment and point-of-sale systems.
- Explain available photo products and packages.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and guest-ready work area.
- Handle payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
- Meet sales and guest-service expectations.
- Follow all company and park safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with guests.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and point-of-sale systems.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous customer service, retail, sales, or photography experience is helpful but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends throughout October, including scheduled Hallo-BOO operating dates.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a busy theme-park environment.
