Your Day-to-Day Impact
Forget sitting behind a desk. As a Retail Security Officer, you are the face of the centre, combining a sharp security presence with friendly customer service:
- Conduct high-visibility patrols (internally and externally) to keep shoppers and retailers safe.
- Be a helpful point of contact by greeting customers, answering enquiries, and giving directions.
- Monitor CCTV, manage access points, and swiftly handle site policies.
- Lead the response to alarms, medical incidents, or emergency evacuations calmly and professionally.
- Liaise directly with centre management, retailers, and emergency services while keeping accurate daily logs.
What You Bring to the Team
- A current NSW Security Licence.
- An up-to-date First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Exceptional communication skills and a highly professional presentation.
- Top-tier conflict resolution skills—you know how to de-escalate a situation with a calm attitude.
- Reliability and the flexibility to work rotating rosters (including weekends and public holidays).
- Previous retail security experience is highly regarded, but definitely not essential—we train for attitude.
