Monday – Friday | Must be available to work any 8-hour shift scheduled between 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM EST
About the role
As a Retirement Benefits Call Center Representative, you will support participants by answering inbound calls and assisting with questions related to pension and retirement benefits. You will provide information regarding defined benefit pension plans, payments, forms, account information, required documentation, and next steps.
This role requires strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively navigate multiple systems while assisting participants in a fast-paced environment.
Key duties
- Answer inbound calls from participants regarding pension and retirement benefit inquiries
- Assist participants with questions related to defined benefit pension plans, payments, forms, and account information
- Navigate multiple systems and tools while accurately documenting call details
- Research and resolve participant questions and concerns professionally and efficiently
- Review and explain required documentation and next steps to participants
- Maintain accurate and complete records of participant interactions
- Meet established productivity, quality, and attendance expectations
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure accurate and timely resolution of participant inquiries
Requirements
We’re looking for customer-focused, detail-oriented team members who can effectively manage participant’s inquiries in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous customer service and/or call center experience
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and tools efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive or complex inquiries
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Basic computer proficiency, including typing and system navigation
- Pension or retirement benefits experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass required background screening and drug test

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $29,640 - $37,050.
