As a Corebridge Consultant, you will serve as the contact for plan sponsors who need assistance with Retirement Manager. You will provide responsive and proactive customer service at the group level. You will be a resource for subject matter expertise on Retirement Manager and its processes. As an influencer at Corebridge Financial, people come to you as a “go-to” source for help and support because of your deep knowledge and expertise. As a more experienced team member, you can drive continual improvement and impact the way that things get done. Process Management
- Responsible for Retirement Manager underwriting process, including initial and renewal agreements, annual billing, business case reviews, and Request for Proposal bid reviews.
- Manage Retirement Manager deconversion and termination while partnering with Corebridge and vendors for transition.
- Manage Retirement Manager vendor mergers and acquisitions.
- Manage Retirement Manager contract agreements for groups.
- Work closely with Relationship Manager, ongoing Account Manager, and various internal and external business partners.
- Manage incoming plan sponsor emails and phone calls as a backup.
- Identify out of scope services and escalate to management as needed.
- Identify training needs and escalate to management as needed.
Data Entry
- Enter data timely and accurately into the on-going services database as required.
- Update on-going services database to ensure reports are accurate.
Teamwork
- Utilize team resources to optimize results.
- Continually seek and share Subject Matter Expertise with the team to ensure cross functional processing.
- The best people doing this job are high-energy, PC proficient professionals that process strong problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to perform in a high-volume service-oriented team.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- 5+ years of related experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation.
- Proficient with computer software.
- Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and provide and/or develop an appropriate solution for resolution.
- Proven experience handling multiple priorities.
- Proactive problem-solving ability with solutions-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work independently within a team and make decisions while considering client requirements.
Work Location
This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
