Returns Team Member

POSITION PURPOSE:

To perform all shipping, return and receiving functions for our fulfillment centers.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

• Unload trucks and distribute product to be received in.
• Enter purchase order (P.O.) into the warehouse management system, scan product into the system and apply printed label onto the case to be put to bin.
• Perform audits to ensure the received items match the packing slip for quantity and correct item, send Quality Action Request (QAR) to Quality Control Department as needed and/or communicate with other departments as necessary for problem resolution.
• Open cases and scan product to bin; cut down boxes.
• Pick product from the bin or pallet, place correct picking label on the item and place on conveyor or deliver to packing area.
• Scan item into the warehouse management system to confirm correct pick and to obtain shipping label, place/pack item in the correct size box with the designated materials and seal package for shipment.
• Perform inventory control functions including adjustment of items into and out of inventory, problem resolution, cycle counting, correction of errors, etc.
• Process priority shipments, coordinate dock activities and work with carriers to assure they have proper documentation.
• Perform inventory cycle counts. Use RF equipment to scan items in bin for accountability and to maintain inventory accuracy.
