Revenue Cycle Specialist

Processes healthcare billing, insurance claims, and payments while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies in a hybrid office role.

We're looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure accurate billing, timely payment processing, and exceptional support for our client organizations. What You'll Do

  • Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately to patient accounts.
  • Reconcile daily and monthly cash receipts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements.
  • Obtain and track prior authorizations to support timely billing.
  • Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims accurately.
  • Monitor outstanding claims and follow up on unpaid accounts.
  • Partner with Billing, Collections, Intake, and client teams to resolve reimbursement issues.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in billing, cash posting, or insurance verification
  • Experience with accounts receivable and electronic reimbursement systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, EHRs, and practice management software.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
