About our property:

Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast, by Curio is a stunning waterfront destination located in Southwest Florida, offering the perfect blend of luxury and leisure. With 785 guest rooms and more than 60,000 square feet of event and meeting space, the resort is designed to accommodate both upscale leisure getaways and dynamic business gatherings. What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Revenue Management Analyst plays a central role in driving topline revenue performance through rigorous data analysis, group segment intelligence, and market dynamics evaluation. This position is responsible for generating, maintaining, and interpreting a broad suite of revenue management reports — with particular emphasis on group business patterns, group pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and competitive market positioning. The Analyst serves as a key analytical resource supporting the Revenue Management team's ability to make informed, data-driven decisions that maximize total hotel revenue.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resort policies, practices and procedures.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Drive topline revenue performance through data analysis, forecasting, group intelligence, and market evaluation.
  • Serve as a key analytical resource supporting data-driven revenue decisions and total hotel revenue optimization through the use of Power BI and AI/LLM platforms, including CoPilot, Claude and ChatGPT.
  • Support pricing, inventory, forecasting, and commercial strategy initiatives across the resort.
  • Generate, maintain, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reports.
  • Analyze booking pace, demand trends, market conditions, and competitive positioning.
  • Monitor group booking patterns, lead times, cancellation trends, and wash factors.
  • Produce group pickup, forecast, displacement, and profitability analyses.
  • Evaluate group pricing opportunities and displacement risks.
  • Analyze seasonality, compression periods, soft dates, and market events impacting demand.
  • Track group actualization versus contracted room blocks and identify wash trends.
  • Participate in group pickup and forecast meetings and assist with availability management.
  • Create executive-ready reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and special commercial projects.
  • Explore and introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI), business intelligence, and automation tools to improve forecasting, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring analytical processes.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Catering, Front Office, and Revenue Management teams to ensure data integrity and strategic alignment.
  • Maintain and support revenue management systems and reporting platforms.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment when evaluating new programs, new services and new ideas
  • Stay abreast of property goals in order to create, support and present departmental goals to executive leadership
  • Continue to learn and be on the forefront of new technology for the hotel industry
  • Create ways to further enrich the guest experience by continuously reviewing, implementing and refining procedures to ensure every opportunity to offer extraordinary guest experiences while maintaining a culture of smiles, retention of luxury standards
  • Proactively seek guest feedback and liaise with other departments when opportunities present themselves ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience
  • Manage guest requests and own all complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest’s satisfaction
  • Develop collaborative relationships and synergy with all support departments such as Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Guest Services, Front Office, F&B, Golf Course and Executive Offices
  • Foster a management team that possesses and delivers on key strategies of guest service, employee relations, team cooperation, financial responsibility and asset management
  • Ensure all accounting, payroll and employee relations matters are handled in compliance with company policy
  • Perform other functions as needed

What are we looking for?

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resort performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Advanced understanding of group demand, pricing strategy, displacement analysis, and revenue optimization principles.
  • Experience with forecasting, group analysis, revenue reporting, or competitive market analysis preferred.
  • Experience with hotel PMS, revenue management systems, and sales & catering platforms preferred.

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Data-driven and highly analytical.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and forecasting capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present recommendations to leadership.
  • Curious, innovative mindset with interest in AI, automation, and process improvement.
  • Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
