J&P Hospitality is looking for an experienced Revenue Manager to help drive performance across our growing portfolio of extended-stay hotels. If you enjoy digging into data, identifying opportunities, building smart pricing strategies, and partnering with hotel leaders to turn insights into results, this may be the role for you.
You’ll manage revenue strategy across an assigned portfolio, influence pricing and inventory decisions, lead revenue strategy conversations with operations and sales leaders, and play a direct role in maximizing RevPAR and overall hotel performance. This position reports to the Director of Revenue Management.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a multi-property revenue management role with experience in PMS, reservation, and revenue management systems, including Ideas, JonusChorum, Choice Advantage, Opera, or similar systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Revenue Manager plays a key role in driving the financial success of J&P’s hotel portfolio. This role is responsible for maximizing room revenue and forecasting performance across assigned properties. The Revenue Manager manages pricing, demand strategies, and inventory controls, while preparing accurate forecasts and reports. Working closely with General Managers, Area Managers, Divisional Vice Presidents, and the Sales team, this position ensures revenue goals are achieved while supporting J&P’s mission to deliver Affordable, Clean, Safe, and Simple guest experiences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage room pricing and selling strategies across all channels, including brand websites, OTAs, CRS, GDS, call centers, and third-party providers.
- Maximize RevPAR by analyzing demand, forecasting trends, and setting effective oversell strategies and market mix.
- Monitor competitor pricing and positioning; adjust strategies to remain competitive.
- Implement and monitor stay controls, adjusting as needed.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reports.
- Analyze performance across all market segments and internet channels.
- Maintain historical statistical data for all assigned properties.
- Review travel websites to confirm accuracy of availability and pricing.
- Partner with GMs, Area Managers, Divisional VPs, and Sales to execute property-specific and company-wide revenue strategies.
- Lead weekly or bi-weekly revenue strategy meetings to review pace, restrictions, pricing, and projections.
- Actively participate in budgeting and annual business planning.
- Conduct property visits for SWOT analysis, new GM onboarding, P&L reviews, and special projects.
- Support training and development by coaching property leaders during interactions and providing actionable feedback.
- Ensure adherence to multi-state business practices, laws, and company policies.
- Model integrity, professionalism, and alignment with J&P’s mission and values.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a Revenue Management role; extended-stay hotel experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of extended-stay hotel operations, sales, and distribution strategies.
- Proficient in forecasting, statistical analysis, and identifying revenue opportunities.
- Experience with PMS, reservation, and revenue management systems (JonasChorum, Choice Advantage, Opera preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt style for executives, managers, vendors, and property staff.
- Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to coach and collaborate with property teams to achieve results.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated.

- Ability to travel up to 10% for meetings, training, or projects.
- Work schedule may vary based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and Real ID-compliant identification.
- Must be able to travel by car and commercial air.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods of computer use and phone-based communication. Some lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required during travel or events.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for guest and client-facing environments.
