Revenue Operations Analyst
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Revenue Operations Analyst based in the United States.
This role is an opportunity to help shape how a growing organization manages, measures, and scales revenue performance. You will connect data, systems, processes, and business insights across the full revenue lifecycle. Working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, Finance, and Operations, you will improve reporting, forecasting, and operational visibility. Your analysis will help identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes that influence growth and retention. You will also streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and strengthen data quality through smarter processes and technology. This is a collaborative, analytical role for someone who enjoys turning complex information into practical actions and measurable business outcomes.
Accountabilities
- Partner with revenue leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational visibility, decision-making, and performance across the revenue lifecycle.
- Build, maintain, and enhance reporting covering pipeline visibility, bookings, forecasting, retention, expansion, customer health, and overall revenue performance.
- Analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes across Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, and Revenue Operations.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders and business stakeholders.
- Support the definition and scaling of revenue processes, including lead-to-opportunity workflows, sales handoffs, customer lifecycle management, renewals, expansion, and forecasting.
- Design streamlined workflows that reduce manual tasks, improve data accuracy, and enable revenue teams to operate more efficiently at scale.
- Adapt communication and reporting to different audiences, making complex operational and financial information easy to understand.
- Identify and implement improvements that reduce manual reporting while increasing visibility into key metrics, goals, and budget allocations.
- Use AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, analysis, playbook development, and workflow efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate revenue reporting, processes, systems, and governance, recommending improvements based on data and observed business trends.
- Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of revenue technologies, ensuring systems provide reliable data and enable effective decision-making.
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Customer Operations, FP&A, consulting, finance, or another operational function focused on revenue performance, reporting, or process improvement.
- Demonstrated experience developing reporting and insights that support revenue performance, forecasting, pipeline management, retention, expansion, or customer lifecycle visibility.
- Strong analytical ability, with experience working across multiple data sources to identify trends and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, Revenue Operations, Finance, or comparable teams.
- Experience using CRM, revenue, customer success, spreadsheet, and business intelligence platforms such as Salesforce, Gainsight, Gong, Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of sales processes, forecasting methodologies, customer lifecycle metrics, and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders and varied audiences.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting, analysis, workflow efficiency, or operational outputs.
- SaaS experience is preferred, particularly within a revenue-focused or high-growth environment.
- SQL experience is a plus, as is familiarity with revenue planning, forecasting, compensation, territory management, segmentation, territory design, revenue playbooks, or lifecycle process design.
