Revenue Operations Manager

About the Role

This is the first dedicated Revenue Operations hire at a fast-scaling Series A company building AI-powered software for the industrial sector. You will partner directly with senior revenue leadership to design, build, and operate the systems that power growth — owning the full revenue cycle from business development through expansion. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to leave fingerprints on how a company scales.

The company is backed by top-tier European and global venture investors and has grown to over 150 employees since founding in 2020. The team brings backgrounds from leading strategy consultancies, enterprise software companies, and high-growth startups.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the Revenue Operations Lead and Managing Director of Revenue to build and scale revenue systems across the full go-to-market organisation.

  • Lead strategic projects that reshape the sales motion and support enterprise and international expansion.

  • Own and maintain the operational backbone spanning business development, AE pipeline management, customer onboarding, and expansion.

  • Build reporting and analytics infrastructure to surface actionable patterns and drive strategic decisions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, business development, account executives, customer experience, and expansion teams to reduce friction and improve velocity.

  • Design and implement enablement programmes, AI tooling, and onboarding solutions that multiply team output.

  • Contribute to compensation structure design and equity planning as the revenue function matures.

What We're Looking For

Dealbreakers — you must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations or an equivalent role with demonstrated ownership of revenue processes and systems.

  • Hands-on experience across the full revenue cycle: outbound/business development, AE pipeline management, customer onboarding, and expansion.

  • Full professional fluency in both German and English.

  • Ability and willingness to work on-site in Munich 4+ days per week.

Required:

  • Strong systems-thinking mindset: you design structures and operationalise them end-to-end yourself.

  • Proven track record delivering measurable revenue improvements in a high-growth or VC-backed startup environment — ideally having built from zero.

  • Experience working closely with founders, managing directors, and senior revenue leadership to define and execute strategy.

  • Experience enabling or implementing AI tooling and automation within a revenue operations context (enablement, onboarding, workflow automation).

  • Demonstrated extreme ownership: you identify issues, build fixes, and ship without waiting to be told.

Nice to have:

  • Prior founder experience or a clear entrepreneurial orientation — an aspiration to start or back a company in the future.

  • Background in B2B enterprise SaaS, industrial tech, or procurement/supply chain software.

  • Experience at a strategy consultancy or high-growth enterprise software company.

Location & Work Arrangement

This role is based on-site in Munich, Germany, with an expectation of 4 or more days per week in the office. Candidates must already have the right to work in Germany — visa sponsorship is not available.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus equity participation. The exact package will be discussed during the interview process.
