Summary
Processes patient billing and revenue cycle data, verifies claim accuracy, and submits claims to ensure proper reimbursement for a healthcare provider.

Job Summary:
Enters patient/client billing into the provided software. Works on routine assignments within defined parameters, established guidelines and precedents. Follows established procedures and receives daily instructions on work.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Data entry billing experience: Preferred
- Revenue cycle billing/collections/reimbursement experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) Certification *through HFMA: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Provides effective communication amongst all team members regarding claim creation errors. Applies developing/basic working knowledge and experience to the job.
- Verifies accuracy of data, compiles data and translates information into multiple formats.
- Ensures accurate submission of client claims.
- Reviews daily collections and monthly reporting, as well as recommendations for billing audits.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
