Summary
This role involves building and maintaining analytics infrastructure for revenue operations, including creating dbt models, designing data transformations, standardizing metrics, and developing dashboards. The position requires strong SQL skills, experience with dbt and BigQuery, and the ability to translate business questions into data insights.
You will build the trusted analytics foundation for the revenue organization by modeling raw data into curated tables, standardizing revenue metrics, maintaining the semantic layer, creating official self-service dashboards, and translating go-to-market questions into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the curated Cortex data layer
- Create dbt models and transformations from raw sources to trusted tables
- Design a scalable transformation architecture
- Define and standardize ARR, pipeline, conversion, forecasting, and other core business calculations
- Create and maintain the semantic layer as a single source of truth
- Build and own official dashboards, metrics, and reporting
- Translate revenue operations questions into data, metrics, dashboards, and recommendations
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills
- Hands-on data modeling experience
- Experience with dbt or an equivalent transformation framework
- Proven dashboard and business intelligence skills
- Strong data visualization and metric definition skills
- Ability to own the full path from raw data to model to metric to dashboard
- Ability to translate GTM and RevOps questions into data
- Experience with BigQuery and the modern data stack
- Python experience for heavier transformations
- Experience in a GTM, RevOps, or commercial analytics context
- Ability to partner directly with stakeholders and present insights
