ROLE OVERVIEW |
About the Client:
Our client is a rapidly growing distribution company specializing in display and signage solutions, operating primarily through a strong network of wholesalers and resale companies. With steady, post-acquisition momentum, the leadership team is actively expanding operations to eliminate operational bottlenecks and scale efficiency. This role represents the company's first key international hire, serving as a critical right-hand partner to drive systems, automation, and operational excellence.
About the Role:
This is a high-impact, full-time remote hybrid role combining RevOps & Business Operations Specialist . You will function as a strategic execution partner focused purely on business operations. The primary objective is to optimize and automate revenue processes, eliminate manual overhead, and build robust operational systems that allow leadership to focus on high-level growth.
Key Responsibilities
- HubSpot & RevOps Optimization: Audit, redesign, and build automated workflows, pipelines, and reporting dashboards within HubSpot to convert slow, manual processes into seamless revenue engines.
- KPI Tracking & Analytics: Develop and maintain business-wide dashboards to provide real-time visibility into sales metrics, inventory flow, and operational efficiency.
- Process Automation & AI Integration: Proactively identify repetitive tasks and leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) and modern automation platforms to streamline business workflows.
- Business Operations: Handle core business administrative tasks, operational execution, and cross-functional coordination to free up executive bandwidth (strictly focused on business operations, no personal admin). The right person must be equally willing to solve a sophisticated automation problem and handle routine operational work when that's what the business needs.
- System Building: Map existing manual operations, document processes, and implement scalable digital infrastructures with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)
- HubSpot Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience building custom HubSpot workflows, complex reporting, data integrations, and automated sequences (not just basic platform navigation).
- Execution-Minded ("Doer" Mentality): Highly tactical, scrappy, and eager to build and execute directly rather than delegate or manage others.
- AI & Automation Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to research, analyze, troubleshoot, prototype, build, or automate real business processes—not simply for writing, summarization, or basic prompting. Proven US West Coast Overlap: Experience comfortably working US Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours. Candidates based in South Africa must have a verified track record of sustained night-shift/PST work.
- Independent Critical Thinking: Ability to onboard quickly, solve problems proactively, and deliver results with minimal hand-holding.
Nice-to-Haves / Preferences
- Prior experience acting as a Chief of Staff, Ops Manager, or Senior RevOps Analyst in a high-growth SMB or distribution environment.
- Location in Latin America (Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred for seamless daylight overlap).
- Strong analytical skills with a background in converting raw operational data into actionable business insights.
