- iBwave Level 3 Designer certification.
- Demonstrated experience designing in-building wireless systems, including passive and active DAS and small cell solutions.
- Prior experience working with T-Mobile on in-building wireless or DAS projects.
- Hands-on experience using iBwave for DAS design work.
- Understanding of RF design principles, coverage and capacity requirements, carrier specifications, and design compliance standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans, construction drawings, and related technical documentation.
- Experience coordinating technical work with construction teams, vendors, technicians, OEMs, carriers, deployment and integration teams, and project managers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear technical and carrier-ready documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Visio, as well as general design and documentation tools such as Figma.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and safety considerations relevant to telecommunications and construction environments.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with multi-carrier in-building systems for major operators is preferred.
- Experience working on wireless deployments in airports, stadiums, hospitals, large commercial buildings, or other high-profile venues is a plus.
- Familiarity with public safety systems such as ERRCS and FirstNet, as well as CBRS or private LTE networks, is preferred.
