RF/Digital PCB Designer
Summary
Designs RF and digital printed circuit boards end to end — schematics, component libraries, layout, power-supply selection, manufacturing liaison, and lab testing — for a defense R&D firm supporting U.S. warfighters in Dayton, OH. Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Create schematics, creation of PCB library components, layout, manufacturing, and verification.
- Familiar with common analog and digital components.
- Gather requirements for a circuit board and then create a concept for preliminary approval. The design concept would include evaluating power for the circuit board and selecting power supplies.
- Create both a schematic and a layout for PCBs. Can interface with PCB manufacturers and address manufacturing issues.
- Use basic lab test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience designing PCBs.
