Requirements
As an RF DSP Lead - SigInt at Armory, you will be responsible for leading the development of RF Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and firmware, with a strong focus on Signal Intelligence (SigInt), including Communications Intelligence (COMINT) and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT).
- Develop and implement real-time DSP algorithms for RF signal processing, including pulse compression, micro-Doppler processing, and target detection.
- Work with Software Defined Radios (SDRs), including RFSoC, to optimize signal acquisition and processing.
- Design and optimize firmware for RF data acquisition, processing, and control, ensuring high-performance signal detection, identification, and classification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RF engineers, software developers, and system architects, to integrate DSP firmware into larger RF systems.
- Perform tests and troubleshoot RF systems to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in RF signal processing and machine learning applications in SigInt.
Must haves
- Minimum 15 years of experience in RF DSP development, with a strong focus on Signal Intelligence (SigInt) applications.
- Hands-on experience with COMINT and ELINT signal processing.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing DSP algorithms for RF applications.
- Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDRs) and RFSoC-based implementations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB for DSP algorithm development.
- Experience with communication protocols such as OFDM, QAM, and radar signal processing.
- Proficiency in working with DSP processors (TI, ADI, Xilinx, or equivalent).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex RF systems.
- Strong debugging skills using lab instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers).
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with AI/ML applications in DSP.
- Understanding of adaptive filtering and beamforming algorithms.
- Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.
- Contributions to open-source DSP projects or published research in signal processing.

30 Days
- Complete onboarding, understand the mission, meet the team.
- Familiarize yourself with tools, software, and equipment.
