RF Module Design Engineer Co-op (Winter/Spring 2027)

Our Cedar Rapids location specializes in RF connectivity products covering a range of solutions, end markets and applications. Your job function will include but not be limited to measuring and simulating RF circuits while helping to improve the performance of new designs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• You will support design and test evaluation, along with data validation of multi-chip-modules with integrated power amplifiers, switches, acoustic filters, LNAs, and CMOS controllers
• You will perform RF tests, evaluate, summarize, and present data to design engineers
• Assist design using RF modeling tools, and production team using test data summary

Required Experience and Skills


• Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering BS or MS program, and be returning to school after the completion of this Co-Op
• Must have the ability to complete a 6 month Co-op term prior to graduation. Term is Winter/Spring 2027 (January - June)
• Strong background in RF and Microwave design
• Knowledge in RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.)
• RFIC Design and Simulation experience will be a plus
• Experience in using RF equipment such as oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources
• Debugging experience
• Good communication, data summary and presentation skills
