RF Validation Engineer Co-Op (Winter/Spring 2027)

In this Winter/Spring co-op opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. Duration: January to June 2027

Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Working with experienced engineers to validate/develop Multi-chip modules
• Measuring RF module performance across supply, temperature, and frequency
• Creating compliance matrices against spec, plotting results and analyzing data
• Participating and presenting in data reviews
• Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment
• Trouble-shooting and resolving test/bench or technical issues
• Collaborating with other engineers and technicians

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) BS or MS programs
• Commitment for working on-site for 6 months
• Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact
• Strong career interest in RF/microwave Testing and Engineering
• Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others
• Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Desired Experience and Skills

• Knowledge of coding is a plus

• Hands-on experience in the lab using standard RF instruments is highly preferred
