This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a RFP Analyst - SLED based in United States.

This role supports public-sector growth by managing complex RFP, RFI, ITB, and bid responses across State, Local, and Education markets.
You will own proposal workflows from opportunity intake through final submission, ensuring every response is accurate, compliant, persuasive, and delivered on time.
The position combines proposal writing, procurement analysis, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration in a technology-driven environment.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Legal, Security, Product, Finance, Professional Services, and Customer Success to bring together high-quality responses.
Your work will help position innovative enterprise software solutions for government agencies, higher education institutions, and K-12 organizations.
Success requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, strong writing skills, and confidence navigating highly structured public procurement processes.
This is an opportunity to play a central role in a growing SLED sales organization while developing deep expertise in government contracting and technology proposals.

Accountabilities:

  • Proactively identify relevant RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, ITBs, bids, solicitations, and other procurement opportunities from state and local governments, public agencies, higher education institutions, and K-12 organizations.
  • Manage assigned SLED solicitations from intake through final submission, creating and maintaining response schedules, compliance matrices, timelines, and review cycles.
  • Analyze procurement documents to identify mandatory requirements, evaluation criteria, deadlines, forms, certifications, submission procedures, and other compliance obligations.
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and tailor proposal responses for public-sector audiences, translating product, technical, security, implementation, and support capabilities into clear and compelling answers.
  • Maintain approved proposal content, public-sector boilerplate, customer references, certifications, security responses, and supporting documentation, coordinating with subject matter experts to keep materials accurate and current.
  • Support bid/no-bid decisions by summarizing solicitation requirements, timelines, risks, resource requirements, and strategic considerations.
  • Track amendments, bidder questions, pre-bid conferences, addenda, upcoming procurements, renewals, contract expirations, and other indicators of future opportunities.
  • Serve as the central coordination point for internal contributors throughout active bids, ensuring Sales, Legal, Security, Product, Finance, Professional Services, and Customer Success provide accurate and approved content on schedule.
  • Partner with SLED Account Executives to align opportunities with target accounts, territories, sales priorities, and broader go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain strong proposal processes and content libraries to improve response quality, consistency, efficiency, and compliance across multiple concurrent opportunities.
  • Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in RFP management, proposal development, public-sector sales support, government contracting, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience reviewing complex solicitation documents and managing compliance-driven proposal responses, preferably within SLED or another public-sector environment.
    • Familiarity with government RFPs, RFIs, ITBs, cooperative purchasing, public bid portals, and formal government procurement processes.
    • Experience working in SaaS, enterprise software, legal technology, or another technology environment serving public-sector organizations.
    • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive proposal content.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contributors and competing deadlines simultaneously.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret and follow highly specific procurement instructions.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly when assessing requirements, risks, timelines, and bid priorities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and diverse cross-functional teams while maintaining ownership of proposal timelines and deliverables.
    • Proficiency with Salesforce, proposal management platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and content management or proposal libraries.
    • Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and maintaining high-quality output in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and coordinate with distributed teams.
    • Benefits:

      • Base salary: $74,000–$90,000 per year, with final compensation determined by skills, education, experience, and work location.
