We are seeking a Right-of-Way Due Diligence Agent with experience interpreting easements, reviewing land records, and supporting midstream pipeline and gathering system projects. This role is responsible for analyzing right-of-way documents, reviewing title and property information, interpreting surveys and plats, maintaining land-related data, and supporting land administration activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with midstream assets and gathering systems, possess a strong understanding of easements and property rights, and be comfortable reviewing land documentation. Candidates should possess basic title experience, be detail-oriented, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively, and be experienced with GIS and database systems commonly used in land and right-of-way operations.
This is a temporary contract-to-hire, onsite position based in Houston, Texas. No travel or vehicle requirements are associated with this role.
Responsibilities

Easement & Document Analysis: Review and interpret easements, right-of-way agreements, and provisions contained within land documents.

Mapping & Survey Review: Analyze alignment sheets, surveys, plats, and related property records.

Project Support: Support due diligence efforts specifically for midstream and gathering system projects.

Title Research: Research basic title information and property ownership records.

Data Management: Maintain and update land-related databases and project documentation.

GIS Tools: Utilize GIS and mapping tools to support ongoing land and right-of-way activities.

Quality Control: Identify and resolve discrepancies within land records and project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work independently and collaborate effectively with land, engineering, operations, and project teams as needed.
Required Qualifications

Experience working with midstream and/or gathering system assets.

Experience reviewing and interpreting easements, right-of-way agreements, alignment sheets, surveys, and plats.

Basic experience and working knowledge of title research and property ownership documentation.

Hands-on experience working with land databases.

Proficiency with GIS tools (e.g., Google Earth, ArcGIS, or similar mapping platforms).

Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Must be eligible to work in the United States (temporary work authorization accepted).
Preferred Qualifications

Additional in-depth title research and due diligence experience.
