Rights Account Executive

The Role:
Managing and establishing the solid relationship with Rights holder is the fundamental to our business. Supporting an Senior Rights & Activation Managers within Rights & Activation, this role takes on hands-on responsibility across contract administration, partner communication, rights clearance and sponsorship activation initiatives for our sports extensive multi-sport rights portfolio.
Japan Rights & Activation have two verticals, domestic partners (e.g. J.League, NPB, B.League, League One Rugby) and international partners and rights holders (e.g. AFC, FIFA, FIBA, World Rugby, La Liga).
  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned partners (leagues, clubs, rights holders and agencies).
  • Manage contract terms and rights scope, prepare materials and meeting minutes, process rights payment transactions, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive the execution of activation initiatives (promotions, content, fan engagement, etc.).
  • Compile information related to distribution, scheduling and programming, and liaise with relevant internal departments.
  • Assist with research and reporting on content performance (reporting back to rights holders), market and competitor trends.


  • Bachelor's degree / new graduate or early-career (within ~3 years of work experience)
  • Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative approach with stakeholders.
  • Native-level Japanese required; Business English skills are a plus
