Rigid Truck Driver

The Role

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Rigid Truck Driver to join our busy and fast-paced team at Finol. In this role, you will support the smooth and efficient movement of goods, ensuring accuracy, safety and high-quality service as part of our daily operations. You will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of our products.

Responsibilities

· Deliver orders promptly and accurately while maintaining high standards of service

· To know the locations of and practice correct handling procedures for potentially hazardous products.

· Ensuring all equipment (e.g., ladders, forklift trucks, pallet trucks) is correctly used and properly maintained.

· Adhere to road regulations and company policies to ensure safe and lawful driving.

· Advising customers on any queries, which may arise in relation to products and/or their orders, technical knowledge of the products will form a key part of the role.

· Maintaining the site, to ensure it is in good and safe order, reporting any H&S our security concerns as and when they arise to your line manager.

· General office administration and use of the computer for processing of orders, checking stock and dispatch dockets.

· Any other duties as assigned by your line manager to meet the needs of the business.

Key Skills required

· Full valid and clean category C is required

· Forklift license desirable

· Previous experience in a multi drop driver role advantageous

· Self-Motivated

· Hands on/can do attitude

· A high level of accuracy/attention to detail along with good organizational skills are key attributes for the position

· Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations

· Excellent interpersonal skills, specifically excellent customer service skills

· Ability to work under pressure
