We are a hardcore research team hungry to build the next generation of computer vision and machine learning technology. Ring’s R&D-center in Kiev that is focused on applying AI, machine learning, computer vision and intellectual data analysis technology for smart home security products.

Job Summary
You will join CVCore, the team that develops a cloud-based automatic video tagging engine that makes extensive use of ML and other CV approaches.

As a team member you will develop web-based tools which will help developers and researchers to improve their NN and ML algorithms, debug data workflow, access training data, evaluate and show useful statistics and metrics (precision/recall etc). You will develop tools from scratch and will have sufficient freedom choosing the technology (preferably Angular2/Typescript or React). At the moment we use Python with a popular NN framework as main service, Core Java as data layer, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Docker, etc. Each tool runs at AWS, so you should be familiar with it.

Qualifications and Skills
— Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, native JavaScript (including frameworks Angular.js 1.x/2.x, React.js)
— Experience of developing SPApplications
— Experience with Docker
— Experience with SQL
— Experience with Node.js
— Additional skills (would be a huge plus): Java, Python
