We are a hardcore research team hungry to build the next generation of computer vision and machine learning technology. Ring’s R&D-center in Kiev that is focused on applying AI, machine learning, computer vision and intellectual data analysis technology for smart home security products.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Back End Software Engineer to join our backend team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced developer eager to learn and grow his/her skills in cutting edge technologies and AI, developing back-end that we run in a cloud, processing millions of videos daily.

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years of C++/Python/ Java development experience (need to be two of three languages in one person)
• 5+ years of relevant object-oriented application building experience in a professional environment
• Thorough understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or similar technologies
• Excellent coding skill in Java, C++, and/or Python
• Proficiency in Linux environment.
• Knowledge working closely with git
• Excellent communication skills and being able to work independently or in a full team
• Experience in test automation and test-driven development
• Experience with AWS
