Risk Analyst - Dealing Desk

You will take a seat on an experienced dealing desk at the heart of the firm's risk operation, where your ideas on data, scripts, and positioning get put to use quickly. You'll coordinate and manage the FX trading portfolio across all major currencies during your session, monitoring market movements, news, economic calendars, and market events in real time. You'll manage risk through positioning and trading within approved limits, policies, and procedures, while building scripts, dashboards, and analytical tools that enhance the team's performance and directly contribute to workflows and P&L outcomes. You'll prepare daily reports for stakeholders, presenting key insights clearly, and conduct analytical work across related business areas as requested by the senior team. You'll also work closely with senior dealers on trade supervision and alignment of risk strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build scripts, dashboards, and analytical tools that enhance the team's performance, contributing directly to workflows and P&L outcomes
• Coordinate and manage the FX trading portfolio across all currencies during your session
• Monitor market movements and stay up to date with news, economic calendars, and market events
• Manage risk through positioning and trading within approved limits, policies, and procedures
• Prepare daily reports for stakeholders, presenting key insights clearly and effectively
• Conduct analytical work across related business areas as requested by the senior team
• Work closely with senior dealers on trade supervision and alignment of risk strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or IT-related disciplines
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in financial services or FX/CFD industry preferred
• Familiarity with MT4/MT5 trading platforms and bridge systems is a strong advantage
• Strong interest in financial markets and market structure
• Solid numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Python or scripting knowledge will be considered a plus
• Bilingual - English & Mandarin Speaking required
