About the Job
The Risk Analyst plays a key role in underwriting and onboarding customers to ManageAmerica’s payment processing platform. This role is responsible for assessing financial and operational risk, ensuring compliance with payment regulations, and supporting the large-scale migration of customers. The position combines risk analysis, customer interaction, and cross-functional collaboration to enable secure, efficient, and scalable growth.
Essential Functions
- Own risk intake and underwriting executive for new customers and migrations
- Lead KYC reviews and assess financial, operational, and fraud risk
- Underwrite and onboard high volumes of manufactured home communities with appropriate limits and funding terms
- Partner with onboarding teams to enable fast, compliant customer activation
- Serve as the primary contact for risk-related documentation, inquiries, and escalations
- Monitor portfolio risk and reassess high-risk accounts over time
- Identify risk signals, strengthen controls, and improve underwriting processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and reduce customer friction
Qualifications
- 5+ years in payments, underwriting, banking, fintech, or risk operations
- NACHA certification
- Experience assessing financial risk, reviewing documentation, or making approval decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive or risk-based conversations
- Ability to operation in high-volume, fast-scale environments with competing priorities
- Strong analytical thinking and sound judgement under ambiguity
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility
Work Environment
This role operates in a fully remote work environment. This role routinely uses standard home office equipment and technology such as computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, and peripheral devices.
