Risk Analyst Team Lead
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and driven Risk Analyst Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day monitoring activities of the Risk Analyst team while remaining actively involved in live risk detection within the Crystal Live Casino Studio.
In this role, you will take ownership of case quality, make critical escalation decisions for High and Critical severity incidents, and ensure proper shift coverage to maintain continuous risk monitoring. Acting as the key point of contact, you will collaborate closely with Operations, Surveillance, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
As a vital contributor to studio integrity, the Risk Analyst Team Lead plays a crucial role in developing team capabilities, maintaining consistent risk detection standards, and safeguarding game integrity, company revenue, and player trust at a team level.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the day-to-day output of the Risk Analyst team across all shifts, ensuring consistent monitoring and performance.
Ensure full coverage across all live tables and games at all times.
Review and spot-check Risk Analyst–logged incidents for accuracy, completeness of evidence, and correct severity classification.
Take ownership of Critical and High severity cases end-to-end, coordinating with Surveillance, Compliance, and Management.
Act as the primary escalation point and provide final decisions in cases of classification disagreements or uncertainty.
Plan shift rosters, assign table and game coverage, and manage effective shift handovers.
Onboard and coach new Risk Analysts on tools, red-flag identification, and escalation procedures.
Conduct refresher training sessions on emerging risk patterns and updates to procedures.
Represent the Risk Analyst team in incident reviews with Operations, Surveillance, Compliance, and the Operations Manager.
Identify gaps in tools, detection coverage, or procedures, and contribute to implementing improvements.
Consolidate individual Risk Analyst reports into structured daily, weekly, and monthly team-level risk summaries.
Perform additional duties related to the role as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Ensure consistent and high-quality risk detection and escalation standards across the team.
Ensure no table or game operates without monitoring during any shift.
Maintain team KPIs and overall performance targets.
Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation and reporting across all team activities.
Comply with all studio policies, including security, data protection, and confidentiality requirements.
Maintain professional conduct and strong operational discipline at all times.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Risk Analyst or similar role in iGaming, live casino, surveillance, or fraud/risk analysis.
Proven experience in risk analysis, surveillance, fraud detection, or a similar role.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and support team members.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on risk detection and mitigation.
Ability to work under pressure and make sound judgment calls quickly.
Excellent communication skills across multiple stakeholders (Operations, Surveillance, Compliance, Management).
Ability to apply and help design escalation matrices and quality-review processes.
Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
Professional working proficiency in English.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
