Risk & Compliance Program Manager
Summary
Oversee risk registers, compliance programs, and audits for a fintech/banking/payments company, translating regulations into controls and embedding risk into product and client workflows.
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Risk & Compliance Program Manager to strengthen our risk management framework, ensure regulatory compliance, and support scalable growth across fintech, banking, and payments operations. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize risk processes, oversee compliance programs, support audits, and build governance infrastructure that aligns with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Risk & Compliance Program Execution
Experience implementing and operationalizing programs such as AML and Third-Party Risk Management, including establishing processes, controls, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.
Technical & Data Capabilities
Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with data, systems, and technology. Ability to build and enhance an enterprise risk and compliance dashboard and risk heatmap that brings together information across AML, TPRM, security, audit, compliance, and other risk areas to provide actionable visibility to leadership.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership
Strong project management skills with the ability to take an initiative from concept through implementation—developing workplans, managing dependencies, coordinating stakeholders, identifying issues, and ensuring deliverables are completed and adopted.
Independent Ownership & Problem Solving
This is a key requirement. We need someone who is comfortable identifying what needs to be done without being told, developing a practical approach, and driving execution with minimal supervision. The person should be comfortable with ambiguity, able to learn new subject areas quickly, and know when to bring in SMEs rather than needing to be the SME themselves.
