Risk Management Analyst

Support risk governance, identify and track operational/compliance risks, and prepare reports for an insurance brokerage in Dubai.

General Overview:

We are hiring for our client, a leading insurance brokerage, seeking a motivated Emirati professional to join their team as a Risk Management Analyst. This is a high-potential opportunity for early-career talent to gain hands-on exposure to enterprise risk, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance within a structured and forward-thinking environment.

The role will support the development and implementation of a robust risk governance framework, contributing to effective risk identification, monitoring, and mitigation across the organization while strengthening internal controls and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of the organization’s Risk Governance Framework, including policies, procedures, and risk registers
  • Assist in identifying and tracking key risks, including operational, compliance, fraud, cyber, and AML/CFT risks
  • Conduct basic risk assessments and follow up on mitigation actions under guidance
  • Prepare routine risk reports, dashboards, and documentation for management review
  • Monitor internal controls and highlight gaps or areas of concern to senior team members
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information for risk and compliance activities
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation across all risk-related processes
  • Support regulatory reporting and compliance-related activities as required
  • Assist in tracking outsourcing arrangements and ensuring proper documentation is in place
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the risk function

Key Requirements:

  • Emirati with FamiIy Book – mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • 0–1 year of experience in risk, compliance, audit, or a related function (internships considered)
  • Basic understanding of risk management principles and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Organized, proactive, and eager to learn within a structured environment
  • Ability to manage tasks effectively and support multiple priorities
