Rite is building a new operating system for civil engineers during the construction execution phase. Our technology can deeply understand complex engineering drawings, extract valuable insights, and help save costs, reduce execution time, and minimize material waste on construction sites.
About the Role
Our Algorithms team is responsible for turning complex, unstructured construction plans into a reliable data model. You’ll work on challenging algorithmic problems where the same information can appear in many different forms, requiring the system to understand and resolve this variability automatically and at scale.
You’ll combine mathematical and geometric techniques, including geometric reduction, with AI approaches to turn unstructured construction data into a consistent model that powers our product.
Your work sits at the core of our product and directly supports our AlgOps team, who work hands-on with construction plans, evaluate algorithm performance, identify edge cases, and provide the domain knowledge needed to improve the system.
You’ll be joining a highly technical team, working closely with people who bring strong expertise and different perspectives to complex problems. It’s an opportunity to learn from experienced teammates, take on meaningful challenges, and have a real impact on a product from an early stage.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement algorithmic solutions for complex problems involving construction plans and data.
- Develop methods to identify, interpret, and normalize information across highly variable construction drawings.
- Combine mathematical and geometric techniques with AI approaches to build robust solutions that work reliably at scale.
- Own the full development cycle, from problem definition and research through implementation, testing, benchmarking, and improvement.
- Work closely with AlgOps to understand real-world edge cases and translate domain knowledge into algorithmic solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Rite’s core algorithmic engine.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in algorithmic development and working with data.
- BSc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to tackle complex and ambiguous problems, persist through challenges, and drive solutions from problem definition to implementation - must.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate complex problems into algorithmic solutions.
- Experience with computational geometry and graph algorithms - a plus.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience working with multi-modal AI models, and using them as part of algorithmic pipelines.
- Ability to work from Rite’s Tel Aviv office 5 days per week.
