Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Must know and apply current theory and principles. of treatment within licensure.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must maintain a safe, clean patient care environment.
• Must be able to perform long periods of standing, walking, turning, stooping, bending, stretching, and lifting.
• Behaves in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of EMH.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS are required. PALS is recommended.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being capable of independent decision-making.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism.
