We are currently seeking a casual Registered Nurse (RN) to support a client requiring insulin administration in the community. This role is ideal for a compassionate and reliable nurse who enjoys providing one-on-one client care and promoting health, safety, and independence in a home setting.
Please note\: This casual position is intended to support a current client need for insulin injections.
The successful candidate will provide safe, professional nursing care while building respectful, therapeutic relationships with clients and their families. They will exercise sound clinical judgment, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold Bayshore's commitment to exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer insulin injections in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and professional nursing standards.
• Assess and monitor clients for changes in health status and respond appropriately to client needs.
• Observe, document, and report any concerns, changes in condition, or adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Promote client safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Adhere to all Bayshore policies, procedures, infection prevention and control practices, and professional standards of practice.
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
