100% FTE, day/evening shift. Operational hours of the Prep/Recovery Cath Lab/EP Lab are 5:30am to 7:00pm. On-call responsibilities may be required for some weekends and/or holidays with a 60-minute response time. We offer a competitive starting pay; relevant work experience will be considered. Hours may vary depending on department need. You will work onsite at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse Care Team Leader (CTL) to:
- Lead the daily operations of a 12-bed Cardiac Cath Lab Prep/Recovery unit, supporting patient flow, staffing, care coordination, and a culture of patient- and family-centered care within UW Health's nationally recognized Heart & Vascular program.
- Provide expert clinical leadership while caring for adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, structural heart, and interventional nephrology procedures, including select higher-acuity patients requiring intermediate care, such as STEMI and TAVR patients.
- Collaborate with an expert multidisciplinary team of interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, anesthesiologists, cardiovascular technologists, and nursing staff to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care and serve as a trusted clinical resource and mentor.
- Partner with nursing leadership to support hiring, shared governance, quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, staff development, and clinical excellence across the Prep/Recovery team.
- Join a growing cardiovascular program with a planned expansion to 24 prep/recovery bays and procedure rooms in 2027, offering the opportunity to help shape the future of procedural cardiac nursing at one of the nation's leading heart programs.

- Baccalaureate degree in nursing or ADN and achievement of BS in nursing within 5 years of hire Required
- Baccalaureate degree or advanced degree in nursing Preferred
- 3 years Relevant pediatric clinical experience Required
- 5 years Relevant pediatric clinical experience Preferred
- 1 year Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology and/or pediatric sedation and/or pediatric PACU Required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support/CPR (BLS) Upon Hire Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Upon Hire Required
- Chemo certified Preferred
- National certification in relevant specialty Preferred
