The RN Clinical Coordinator for the Operating Room at St. Anthony Hospital serves as the primary driver of operational throughput and department-wide efficiency for our high-acuity, 17-suite surgical center, which manages over 900–950 cases per month. Rather than focusing on a single service line, this leadership role is dedicated to the tactical execution of front-desk operations, optimizing real-time staff deployment, and managing complex shift logistics to ensure seamless patient flow across our diverse specialties, including Trauma, Neuro, Cardiac, Robotics, and Vascular. As a central pillar of the management team, you will focus on system-level performance by streamlining room turnover processes, managing add-on case coordination, and ensuring total adherence to departmental safety protocols and organizational standards. By providing high-level floor oversight and proactively addressing operational bottlenecks, you will act as the primary resource for the entire surgical staff, ensuring that resource allocation, scheduling accuracy, and department-wide productivity are maintained at the highest level.

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN Clinical Coordinator, you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model.

Every day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards.

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
• Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
• Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.
• Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.

We are offering a $20,000 Sign on bonus in addition up to $10,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Schedule: 40hrs/wk- Days- variable days of the week and shift start times per surgical volume and current unit needs.

Call required approx. 4 call shifts in 6 week schedule block. Typically, no weekend call unless covering team members PTO.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or by endorsement
• One (1) year of clinical RN experience
• RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Specialty Certification
• Previous OR experience across multiple service lines highly preferred
• Previous leadership experience preferred- Either Charge RN or Service line leader
