RN First Assistant - Operating Room - Per Diem Day
RN First Assistant (RNFA) in our Operating Room at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This position is Per-Diem and will work 8-hour Day shifts.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this position is responsible for assisting the primary surgeon pre, intra, and post operatively with organized instruction and supervised practice. Acts in absence of qualified physician.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Successful completion of a course in RN First Assisting.
- Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization
- 3 years experience in peri-operative nursing practice as both scrub and circulator.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
