RN - GI Lab - Casual Status - AMP - La Jolla

This is a Casual Status also known as Per Diem RN position working 10-hr day shifts. Business hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-5\:30pm. Located in La Jolla at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in the GI Lab. Training will ideally be full time for the first 2 weeks. The minimum availability for this role is 1 time per week.

What you'll do\:

• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
• Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
