- Call requirements! Provide direct nursing care following established organizational policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as taking down and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
- Implement and monitor active care plans while keeping track of, recording, and sharing any changes in patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as the main coordinator across all disciplines to ensure seamless, well-managed patient care.
- Evaluate and coordinate each patient's discharge planning needs alongside the rest of the healthcare team
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Preferences:
Previous procedural/conscious sedation experience preferred
