RN- Med Surg
- Start Date: Immediate
- Shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Patient Population: Med/Surg patients with a variety of conditions
- Estimated Pay Package: $1950 (including Stipend)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical and medical patients.
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 year of Med/Surg/Hospital experience preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
